The Jeep® Cherokee is specially equipped with a range of performance features and capabilities to improve your ride, and its Trail Rated® Trailhawk® trim is ideal for various off-road conditions. With impressive traction, maneuverability, articulation, ground clearance, and water fording capabilities, the new Cherokee Trailhawk® will take you wherever you want to go.

Traction

Helping you to maintain traction on uneven surfaces, the innovative Jeep® Active Drive 4x4 system will provide you with grip when you need it. With a crawl ratio of up to 51.2:1, the Cherokee Trailhawk® is especially capable on dirt, rocks, sand, and other surfaces.

Water Fording

The Cherokee Trailhawk® is equipped with added electrical and body sealing to prevent water from affecting your driving. There's also a higher air intake to make water fording easy, and you can drive in water up to 19 inches deep when properly equipped.

Maneuverability

Another key component of the Trail Rated® badge is superior maneuverability. The Cherokee Trailhawk® has especially tight turning to make it easy to move in tight spaces, with a turning diameter of 38.1 feet. The Cherokee measures 182 inches in overall length, with a 107.1-inch wheelbase for added stability.

Articulation

Articulation is the ability of the frame and body to travel or flex. The more body components can flex, the easier it is to maintain traction on rocky or uneven surfaces. The unibody construction is complemented by an independent suspension in all four corners of the Cherokee, helping you to drive on the trickiest surfaces.

Ground Clearance

Having better ground clearance allows you to drive over obstacles with ease. The Cherokee Trailhawk® has a 29.9-degree approach angle, a 22.9-degree breakover angle, and a 32.2-degree departure angle. With these three distinct points raised high and angled properly, you'll cover many rocks and logs with ease.
